No. We sell our products through our business partners, i.e. cooperating companies that offer professional consulting, measurement and installation.
Do we have any doors in stock?
Our motto is "tailor-made products". Each of our customers receives exactly what they need. The choice of models, colours, sizes and accessories is huge. Almost every door is different and the concept of a standard door is fading out. For this reason, we do not manufacture doors to keep in stock, but focus on the shortest possible lead times. The average delivery time to our business partner is 4 weeks.
How do I protect my entrance door from damage during further construction work?
The construction process obviously involves many risks associated with scratching or denting doors. It is of course worthwhile to additionally protect them with available materials such as foamed polystyrene, foils, lightweight boards, tapes, etc. An increasingly popular option is to mount temporary doors for the time of construction. Feel free to ask our Business Partners about these solutions. Our company offers second and third grade doors, e.g. those that have not passed quality control. They are cheap and perfectly suited as a temporary solution for the time of construction.
What is a "single key system"?
The single key system is a very comfortable solution which allows us to avoid carrying around bunches of keys. Most doors have two locks. The main lock located under the handle and an additional upper lock. An appropriately programmed single key system allows you to open two inserts with only one key. In public buildings, a person's key will only open the doors of rooms that the person is authorized to access. By choosing MARTOM doors with hardware as an individual customer, you will receive single key standard inserts.
What are side and transom windows?
Side and transom windows are additional, non-opening glazed elements which are placed on the side or above the door. They provide more light inside the house. MARTOM's offer of side and transom window technologies encompasses a large selection of sizes and designs. More information on available options, prices and finishing can be found in the "offer" tab.
How do I determine the direction of door opening?
It's very simple. Stand in front of a closed door in such a way that you can see the hinges. If the hinges are to the right, you have a right-handed door and vice versa. The direction of the door is determined identically for doors that open outwards and inwards.
When should the protective foil be removed from the MARTOM door?
The purpose of the protective foil is to prevent any damage during the production process and transport. It is not intended to protect the door during construction or renovation. MARTOM recommends that it be removed immediately after installation. Foil exposed to sunlight for a long time may vulcanize and permanently damage the surface of the laminate.
